KAWS: CLEAN SLATE

KAWS had elected to collaborate again with Harbour City and AllRightsReserved to present his latest sculpture in an exhibition entitled, “KAWS: CLEAN SLATE”. Expanding on his previous creative concepts, KAWS unveiled a new monumental sculpture titled “CLEAN SLATE”. Measuring 7 meters tall, it was among the largest sculpture the artist has ever made. The title “CLEAN SLATE” refered to wiping out the past and starting over again, stepping into the next stage of life. Following “Passing Through”, the sculpture represented KAWS’s signature COMPANION character now on his feet, in Harbour City. “CLEAN SLATE” also carries with him two smaller COMPANIONS in his arms – a new development, taking his viewers into the next chapter of life. Also, a selection of KAWS’s editioned prints are exhibited to showcase his creative milestones! Then it toured in Shanghai, starting the first china solo exhibition of KAWS.
